Heat the cauliflower in the microwave in 90-second intervals until it reaches your desired firmness or softness. More time will result in a smoother consistency, less time will produce a grainy result.
In a food processor, add the cauliflower, garlic cloves, butter, heavy whipping cream, softened cream cheese, and salt and pepper. Blend until fully combined.
Cover the bottom of an oven-safe dish with the cauliflower mixture and sprinkle cheese. Repeat these steps until the mixture and the cheese are used.
In a skillet, heat 4 tablespoons of butter, and when fully melted, add the breadcrumbs. Mix to combine fully.
Top the cauliflower mixture with the breadcrumbs and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the edges are bubbling and the topping is browned.
