KETO TURKEY MEATBALLS IN CREAM SAUCE; WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?
If you’ve searched around this website a bit, you know that I think the Keto Diet is a gateway eating plan.
The first thing to go when beginning keto is the crappy processed foods that yes, taste good, but they do no good for the body. Slowly, you’ll find healthier replacements and I think, you’ll worm your way into a healthier plan that you will actually love. One that is perfectly suited for you and your goals.
This new plan may not be as restrictive on carbs as when you first began your low-carb journey, but that’s okay if you’re still meeting all of your goals. Especially if you’ve dropped a lot of the naughty snacks that may have once weighed you down, literally.
After all, balance is the key to life, no?
But we all know that dropping the snacks is hard. Like super hard. So isn’t it great that we get to enjoy a little heavy cream from time to time? This is the recipe for you if you’re nodding yes.
EASY KETO GROUND TURKEY MEATBALLS
Have you purchased an air-fryer yet? You may want to grab one for this recipe.
You may be thinking that you don’t want another kitchen gadget. I was before I bought one from Dash. This was back in 2020 so I cannot recall with certainty, but I feel it was around $50 or $60.
I don’t know where you fall on price, but here’s the true selling point to consider if an air-fryer is within your budget and if you have the space.
You don’t have to wait for this gadget to pre-heat. You’re going to mix the ingredients, form the meatballs, and put them straight into the air-fryer. Next, you’ll turn it on and bake them for 12 – 15 minutes.
I know, right? This might be your sign if you’ve been thinking about getting one. Until then, also get the following together for these low-carb turkey meatballs.
- 1 Pound Ground Turkey
- 1 Cup Shredded Zucchini
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Red Onion
- 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper, To Taste
TUSCAN KETO TURKEY MEATBALL CASSEROLE
A pound of ground turkey is going to yield approximately 14 meatballs. You’ll likely need to air-fry these in 2 batches unless yours has a large basket. But this is a good thing as it will give you time to build the rest of the dish.
Grab a large skillet and begin to put together your creamy base. There are a few variations to consider. I like a lot more onions and tomatoes with Tuscan Chicken. Whereas, I prefer more mushrooms with the turkey meatball version. How will you build your perfect base?

Finally, add your perfectly cooked meatballs into the skillet and let the creamy sauce simmer around them for a bit and you’re all set.
Try serving this dish over cauliflower rice and pack in more veggies.
